A lot of videos of Jackson have been released lately, thanks to Juliana and Jamie for some tips on these videos. I won’t be posting all of them here, I will be linking to the rest of them. The two below are interviews parts 1 and 2 Jackson, Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz did with Hollywood 411. I’ve added screencaptures from this, along with other videos, to the gallery.

I’ve added about 48 pictures of Jackson with his fellow Twilight castmates into the gallery. A few of these will be replaced with HQs soon, so check back for an edit on that. Speaking of HQs, a few of the ones in the Twilight Premiere have been replaced with HQs as well! I also added some more to the album as well and believe it or not, I still have more images from the premiere to add!

Collider.Com was fortunate enough to have a press conference with the Cullen family (Jackson, Ashley, Nikki, Kellan, Peter and Elizabeth) and they’ve posted a very lengthy transcribe of the conference. You can also download the audio from it (highly recommended), here’s a snippet on one of Jackson’s parts. This has also been placed into the Press Archive for future references.

Q: If any of you could have a special power like Edward or Alice does, what would it be? And, what was it like working with Rob and Kristen?

Jackson: I enjoyed my special ability. It was the ability to manipulate emotions, calm a room of very hungry vampires like all of us. And working with Rob and Kristen was just amazing. They really ignite the screen when they were together. It was just beautiful.

MediaBlvd was lucky enough to chat with Jackson and they’ve posted a really lengthy interview with him! Here’s a snippet from it:

MediaBlvd Magazine> You’ve been performing for a long time now. When did you become serious about acting and decide that you wanted to make a career out of it?

Jackson Rathbone> I’ve been doing the acting thing for awhile now, ever since 6^th grade community theater in Midland, Texas. I started off with the Pickwick Players, a local young actors’ group. They put on about four shows a year, back when I was in it, so I grew up doing a lot of theater. I actually started off doing musical theater. I sang and danced, and did all that. Then, I got really into Shakespeare. A couple of my older actor friends put up their own versions of Shakespeare and I was in one of my friend’s versions of Othello, and I just fell in love with classical theater. Then, I went to Interlochen Arts Academy for my junior and senior years of high school, where I studied acting. Basically, it’s a high school for the arts, and I studied acting as a major there, and that’s when I really got into doing all the music as well. It’s an amazing music school. And then, as soon as I graduated from there, I moved out to Los Angeles and started doing the acting thing.

Jackson, along with a few other Twilight cast members, are featured in iTunes for their Celebrity Playlist feature. Jackson chose out amazing tracks for his 15 songs (make sure to purchase the song! It’s great) and I managed to type down what he said about each one. A screencapture of it has also been added to the gallery.

“Fearful” (Track 1): “The melancholy opening is soothing and beguiling of the energy to come. Once that near-ragtime piano drops in, and the powerful lounge voice of Spencer Bell croons, ‘I’m almost a person,’ the song leads you on an incredible musical journey dipping in and out of genres with lyrics too powerful to ignore. Twilighter: What’s the best way, as director, to calm actors and keep their energy up?

Rathbone: It was the music. We had a lot of fun playing on set. Rob’s a musician, and I’m a musician, so we had little jam-outs. Good times. She let us do it; she let us play, and that’s what it’s all about.

Finally, Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg (also a writer/co-producer for the badass show that is of DEXTER) praised Jackson a little for his role in Twilight in a recent interview she gave. You can read that below as well:

I was also delighted by Jackson Rathbone, who plays Jasper. He doesn’t have a ton of dialogue or screen time, but he just pops. I don’t know what it is exactly; he’s just got this spark.
